Dry food
We mix up 2 different seed mixtures 50/50. Therefor we use the Aviseed conures complex and the Aviseed budgerigar complex. We believe this is a good mixture for these birds. In breeding season we add a little Aviseed parakeet breeder supplement.

We also use our 2mm maintenace pellet which we change in the breeding season to the 2mm breeder pellet.

Softfood
Our blue rumpeds are offered year round the Aviseed medium sprout mix. We offer this both soaked or sprouted. We use Pure H2O fort he safety while soaking and sprouting. This is mixed up with various fruits and vegetables. Outside the breeding season we use the sprout mix with intervals of 2 days between.

In the mix we add Aviseed primal softfood for parakeets in a formulation of 4 parts fruit, 1 part softfood. During breeding season we increase the softfood to 3 parts fruit, 2 parts softfood.

3 times a week we sprinkle the fruit mix with Avi-vit multi. During the breeding season we shift to Avi-vit E and do this every other day. As soon as the female sits down on eggs we change back tot he routine with Avi-vit multi.

Year round we add some drups of Avi-vit β-caroteen, a pro-vitamine A precursor, and we do this every other day.

A bit of Avipollen is used once a week in the same fruit mix,and this the year round.

Outside the breeding season we also mix in some Calcishell, we do this 3 times a week. In breeding season every day and continue when there are youngs in the nest.

Water
Fresh drinkingwater is offered daily with Pure H2O added in the water.
